The Teen Titans were a junior version of the Justice League of America. Its members were likewise all based on older, established characters. Wonder Girl could fly and had super-strength, and often used a rope to battle her enemies the same as her counterpart Wonder Woman; Speedy (based on Green Arrow) fired an array of specialized arrows that came in handy for nearly any situation; Aqualad (based on Aquaman) was master of the water element, and Kid Flash (based on the Flash) could move at blinding speed. The four young heroes operated out of Titan's Lair, a secret underground headquarters located in the base of a dormant volcano.
