The program showed regular episodes of Superman, Aquaman and Superboy alongside a rotating lineup of guest appearance cartoons starring The Flash, Hawkman, Green Lantern, The Atom,

the Teen Titans and the Justice League of America. This format lasted for one season, after which Aquaman got his own show and Superman shared the spotlight with Batman in The Batman/Superman Hour.
